WOYWW. 22nd August

Well, I am cheating slightly, as it is only Tuesday as I write this, but i think I may not be around much tomorrow. My work desk this week has a tag I'm working on for my friends at The House of Bears challenge, pop over and have a look, they have one challenge a month, and is literary based, very good fun.

http://stamping-ground.blogspot.co.uk/2012/08/whats-on-your-workdesk-wednesday-168.html  Hmmm not sure what happened to my link, but anyway, pop over to Julias blog for a spot of workdesk snooping, see what other people are working on at the moment and what scrummy stash they have. Very addictive though, be warned!

In the top corner is the latest page entries in my journal and a tin of hairspray (which also doubles as a sealer for my chalks!)...we'll my desk doubles as a dressing table on work days :). Top right has lots of cut outs from magazines, words and pictures for future use, the box in the middle is a stunning bracelet my lovely hubby bought me as a suprise pressie today, gorgeous free stamps from a magazine than a special friend bought me, a glove that I always forget to wear until after my fingers covered ink ink and paint and wire snippets :)

I'm very nearly done the tag, with the lavender fields, but shall post that in a separate post.

Very varied desk today, thanks for looking :) please pop by again x

  1. Lots of loveliness to look at this week, wearing gloves would be a good idea while misting but we can't find any to fit our paws!!

Lovely to see you taking part in our challenge

Brave indeed to co exist paint and ink with......well I guess more paint and ink!! Love where the lavender tag is going. WOYWW Hugs to you from Helen 15

    1. Haha! I constantly spray things I shouldn't, I get so into what I'm doing I forget to look at the bigger picture. Always a disaster of some kind lol.

  4. Love the colours on that art journal at the back, and who's a lucky girl getting lovely gifts and freebies from people! The lavender tag looks like it's going to be really pretty too. That's an old pasta jar that I store my Memento inks in, it's pretty but sods law always means that the one I want is at the bottom!

  7. Don't know where to start, you have so many wonderful things. Your journal page is gorgeous, such bright colours. I wish I had more time to do some in my journal, it's feeling very neglected lately. That tag is just beautiful, the colours work so well together and over to the side is the orange page. Love those colours too. All just wonderful.
    Have a great week.

  9. Happy Belated WOYWW. Jealous now that your hubby gets you a surprise gift. I don't even get anything for my birthday! I do make sure that I use his credit card on a regular basis to make up for it though!! Ali x #55

  11. Beautiful colours on your desk, Cath - gorgeous journal page and tag, and how lovely of your hubby to get you such a nice pressie.

Thanks for your lovely comment on my blog - I really appreciate your thoughts about Dad, and I know that you understand, because of your dad - I do hope he is a lot better now after his fall. You are right, at this age it does get fairly scary...

Thanks also for the comments about my creative space! Glad you enjoyed your browse around my desk! It's not actually that organised lol!

    Happy belated WOYWW,
